“CHAPTER ONE
He wasn’t coming back. He wasn’t prepared to face the fear and fanaticism he’d failed to extinguish. He was running away, but on a scale so grand and with a purpose so pure it was impossible for those left behind to doubt him. The ship they’d given him matched his ambitions. Its sails stood as banners to his (supposed) courage.”

THE THREE LEADERS
A.M. KNIGHT
Book Four of the Union of Man

THE UNION
A.M. KNIGHT
Book Five of the Union of Man
An evil greater than any faced before terrorises the world, and the two continents must unite. But each nation distrusts the other, and secrets believed to have been long buried threaten being unearthed and risk fracturing a fragile alliance.
The Union needs to sacrifice everything to confront an army of fanatics that has erupted onto the world. The death toll eclipses any before, and victory seems impossible.
The series reaches its conclusion.
“… the Scarred Army lined up from north to south waging war on civilisation, on freedom, and on progress. They were disgusting, disfigured creatures with only one thought in their hollow heads, to worship the blinding light they believed had led them out of the darkness. They despised their enemy, and it was a hatred with some justification. But if they had their way, their barbarous nature would forever desecrate the world. Behind the supposed pureness of their mighty aims was envy, an envy that they couldn’t achieve anything in a world in which they were its poorer inhabitants. The only way for them to stand out was to perpetrate horrific crimes that would leave the world recoiling at their depravity. It had gone on too long. There was no chance of stepping away from the brink now. The hatred and violence had to be confronted. And confronted by hatred and violence.”

A.M. Knight is a daydreamer.
After spending 10 years dreaming about a series of epic stories, he then spent over 12 years writing them. The intention was that one book would flow into the next and readers could invest in the series knowing that it would reach a conclusion.
His books rely less on the usual fantasy devices and more on characterisation and emotional impact. He lives in England with his family.
